Road Trip + New Artwork

Assalamualaikum, hello everyone! I know, I know... I had technical difficulties , I had no computer to use as it was in for repairs. Nothing much has happened since the last post except for a wonderful trip that I went with my high school friends to Lumut. It was a hyper blast! A much needed getaway for me , so many funny memories. I made a new art work  for yet another booth that i'll be opening at Publika ( Fuyoh Art Bazaar) this coming Sunday. I can't spend to much time here because I have some assignments that I need to finish for tomorrow . So enjoy the pictures!

Looking for Haven for the Devil in Me

Assalamualaikum, hye there. Well this week was a lot to handle and reflect on. This week was my first week of college on yet another semster. I only have three classes with an awkward gap in the middle of the week, maybe it's god's way of saying , Haris you asked for time, so here it is, I wanna see what can you do with it.
Not going to let him down, I'm going to focus on venom fame a lot more, and all the productions that it needs to make it successful. And to honest with you guys , I'm loosing my passion in college , I'm not losing passion in art it's just the art that the college does, I want to make my own art with my own rules. Hiash.....  During that awkward gap, I decided to go on a little traveling around the city alone, yes alone. Took the train with glares from people for some reason I will never understand. Then went to buy some art supplies, and went to some galleries and talked to the curators, introduce myself ( It's time the local art scene now about me). It felt amazing! so liberating walking around the city not really knowing where you're going , a little taste of backpacking. ( I wish) . The next day , I went to the yet again but to see my good friend Jaa at her store, had loads of fun talking about business ideas and dreams we share. and a little shopping never hurt anyone.

Ill be opening a booth at RASTA tomorrow I know it's a short notice but do come If you're free.
and I'm down with a fever but it's not going to stop me from my productivity!

Axis Dahlia

Bonjour! Well, it's been quite a relaxing week for me . Just hanging around the house, minding my own business re- watching movies I loved . Painting as usual. but this time I'm trying to experiment on new subjects to focus on rather than my typical portrait ish works , I want to go more surreal but is still connected to people. More abstract I guess , so I've been really inspired by organic forms clashing with geometric lines. I always try to find some universal way of expressing my art, where they are no preferences for it to be masculine or feminine. There's always a kind of androgyny from what I do. Haha, this all may seem too much for you guys, must be thinking what the Hell is Haris talking about. Just bare with me. A fan asked me once, the big question that almost every artist gets is What inspires you? It got me thinking basically. So I shortlisted it to 3 words to describe want I'm passionate in. Romantic, Eclectic and Vivid. Today I'm just going to show you my new artwork called Axis Dahlia I . and some inspiration photos I got from tumblr and clothes I want! haha. Enjoy!.
Just One thing , you guys know how I'm allover  with Givenchy. Riccardo Tisci is insanely genius I want to own everything he designs! Arrrgh, why god why!! haha

The Aftermath

Hey there, I know I should have posted something for the last few days, but I to have time for myself. Lay back and just do nothing, but that routine proves to not stick with me. My itching hands are always eager to do something. Darn you hands. Well the booth I had last Sunday was super fun!! A LOT of my friends came , bless their wonderful heart. I love them. and I met quite a number of interesting people who where interested in my work. Even some readers came over to say hi, I really enjoy meeting you guys. I really appreciate the support you guys gave me and it's definitely something that I want to do more in the future.
