Well , well.

Well hello there! Ok this has been like forever. I thought I wasn't going to post anything anymore here cause I found other easier mediums for me to update my social life, like instagram , twitter and facebook. So I didn't find the need to blog anymore, and for some reason I'm stumbling upon this site again and I just feel like blogging at 1 a.m. So this post might turn out like crap because I haven't done blogging in so long , so I'm just winging it.

Obviously a lot has happen since I last posted, my mind set has change as well as my attitude towards life (for the better I hope). I've meet some really wonderful and inspiring people this year that I think made me grow positively. Of course they're some bad moments, but let us not dwell on that.

So what I've been up to? I'm trying to get more involve in the gallery scene , and I'm slowly doing it. yeay! Stay tuned they will be a few shows coming up.Please follow me on my social sites if you haven't already on the right top there.

I hope everyone's doing well? I would love to hear from you. (if anyone still follows me, lol.)

Here are some instagram photos of new works I'm working on.  @harisrashid

Thats it for now, really not sure when i'll update ; we will see.
Au Revoir!

Getting Wild

Hello there, I had quite tropical week . Painting my panthers and actually seeing them in real life! Looking at big cats from pictures doesn't even feel close to how I saw the real thing. When I spotted majestic orange skin flashing between lush trees it gave me goosebumps. The trip to the Zoo made me so inspired to draw my animals and kinda gave purpose. So here's  my latest panther and a digital painting I've been playing around with!. Enjoy!

There you go , hope you liked it!
I going to continue on my art installation now.
Have a great weekend!

Moonrise

Bonjour! How is everyone, I guess everyone's fine since Doomsday din't happen. Let us continue with our lives shall we. But I won't lie that it startled me a little. I've just recently finished a big piece, it took longer that I expected. I procrastinated  a lot. I think it's one of my biggest pieces, just wanted to make something abstract. I thought of the concept that If you read a book, that'll it take you places. Imagining yourselves in the story realms. I wanted to capture those moments, the painting is made with gauche , acrylic and color pencils on wood panel. It's nice to draw on wood once in awhile , but I'm still paper type of guy. I hope you guys enjoy a little insight as to how I work. I drink a lot of hot chocolate while I paint, and  I just watched this movie called Moonrise Kingdom( explains the inspiration for the title) and it was balling amazing. I just love awkward weird but beautifully designed movies. I highly recommend it to weirdost just like me out there. or is it just me?

I have some diy projects up my sleeve so watch out!

Simple Sundays

Bonjour! Comment ca va? haha I miss writing to my french Mauritius friend, I hope she's well. Well , Sundays are always a day of spring cleaning, washing your car and pakai bedak sejuk tengok  Melodi   sambil makan durian. , hahaha!. A slip of my mother tongue if you don't mind. Neglecting the fact that I have a class tomorrow  and that I have to finish my assignment never stopped me from enjoying my Sunday, kids don't try this at home. To tell you the truth I have guilty pleasure of organizing my closet and trying out a lot of clothes , I'll mix and match them to create something new. I do this all the time on Sundays , well now you know how vainly creepy I am. I just love clothes is that so wrong?. I also realized that I have quite a hat collection going on, so decided to try them all out for you guys. Those hats are for times when I need something on my head, it's a seasonal thing for me. I also tried a new piece of art, merely in progress but it's on a wood panel. I'll let you know how it goes but so far it's amazing , I wanted to try coloring acrylic on it.

And this is what I ate for breakfast, Purple potato steamed with brown sugar and coconut. Super awesome,
and I swear that the potato is naturally that color.

Here's my Hat collection, just for laughs!

LOL, Have a nice week guys.
Au revoir!
