Getting Wild

Hello there, I had quite tropical week . Painting my panthers and actually seeing them in real life! Looking at big cats from pictures doesn't even feel close to how I saw the real thing. When I spotted majestic orange skin flashing between lush trees it gave me goosebumps. The trip to the Zoo made me so inspired to draw my animals and kinda gave purpose. So here's  my latest panther and a digital painting I've been playing around with!. Enjoy!

Panthera

Bonjour , I just want to update on what I've been working on artistically lately. Well, remember i said that I needed to work on a series. I'm working on my big cats , some of you may know already but i haven't really posted any of them here. So I hope I hope, that i'll get to showcase all of them in a solo exhibition . Let's see how it goes , it'll either be before or after my graduation. Amin.

So this is what I've working my ass off on,
Hopefully I'll have a solid collection soon.
Wish me luck!

Now or Never

Bonjour! Well this was pretty much all about getting use with  my new routine that mainly rotates around school , working around assignments. Trying to get the hang of it , while I still do my fun artsy stuff. Since my mum fixed the sewing machine my eyes started to glistened with joy of possibilities of making clothe's. I've always wanted to sew so badly, not much of a fashion designer. Just enough to know the basics, after religiously watching project runway that made clothes look easy. I was ready to do the practical part. Carried that heavy load of a machine on my working table and started to meddle with it. After a sleepless night , I managed to alter all of my clothes that needed fixing which included the denim vest, a lot of pants and a few zipper malfunctions. Then I decided to sew a batik fabric, use it as a pocket on a t-shirt. It turned out okay.haha.Putting aside all these sewing business, I found a new muse to admire on. Claire Boucher Grimes is a phenomenal human being. I looove her songs, putting me in a goth trans! Which is a new style that I kinda like. but could never pull of, just admiring it's coolness from a far.

Here is the awesome girl, go check her out if you haven't already.
and  I bought inks for school .We're learning airbrush this semester , the compressor is deadly expensive. Not going to buy it, visiting friends who has it is worth the saving.
I have a new life motto , "now or never" it's basically means that what ever that I want to do it life should be done now, don't wait for it. Just do it for life is short and abstract. If you don't try you'll never know.

it's now or never.
bye

The Queen of the Damned

Hello there,
I've realized that I've been publishing super long posts lately, I don't know why, it just I want to share
everything and there's load to tell. So, today's post will be long as well. I am proud and relief to announce
that my dreadful semester is FINALLY over!! *applause* yeay! Isn't it simply exciting !! I have enormous
plans for my break, I'll be posting more regularly here and my tumblr www.thevenomfame.tumblr.com( where I post inspirations that tend to become artworks!) I have a project that I'm working on and doing research but trust me it's going to be BIG! Since yesterday, I've sent my most anticipated artwork ever for finals in Illustration Fundamentals ( colour pencil class basically). I was given the theme of darkness, the perfect theme I might say!, I've always wanted to create works that are more provocative and dark in a sense. So I was obviously excited and giddy , my hand was itching to make the artwork!. So I came up with few ideas for it, there was, red riding hood being chase by the white queen alongside dementors in a wintery forest, there was , a man who was allured by a mermaid by the side of a lake where deep under the water the mermaid  was controlled by a kraken( giant octopus ) and there was , a queen who digested angels to maintain her beauty and youth! So I choose that queen obviously , then it went to researching photos for references, thumbnail, colour study and final outcome!.Enjoy!

So I wanted to make something big, real big, the biggest I've made before.
Instead of the size A1 , I went for A0! typical me giving crazy goals for myself!
I really thought I couldn't finish it, by shear determination and a miracle
I did it! in only 5 days. * pats back*

So below are colour study.

So yeah detailed shots, since I would be seeing it till next semester , so I went crazy on taking photos
So excuse my obsessiveness. Here's the relative size of the drawing to me. Owh I forgot! The artworks
medium is , 80% colour pencil , 20% watercolor and gauche on colored paper!.

Okay I'm done, I hope you guys enjoyed it cause I know I did!
Au Revoir, X.
