Simple Lettering DIY

Well hello there, new years are closing. Are you guys excited? Me not really. I usually do resolutions for new years, as for a couple of years I haven't. Well I think people do it just to make themselves fell better, mistakes are always going to happen if you like it or not. I say embrace it, just live the moment. You might fall a couple of times but  good will overcome it. So I'm saying "HELLO" to the new year! I'm all buckled up for the adventure. So I made this DIY hehe, I needed something on my black wall. I did this simple lettering with ice-cream sticks that I wanted to share with you guys. You can make any words you like, you get the picture.

What you need.....

Then arrange your ice-cream sticks to the wording of your choice and cut the excess.

then stick the pieces together with hot glue gun and place all the letters of the cardboard strip.
Paint the cardboard to match your wall color(mine's black) . Then you tie it with thread and you're done.
See simple!

and here's something extra. I did this painting of a Hogwarts crest for a friend (her birthday). I even made an Hogwarts acceptance letter to the school of Wizardy , LOL. And decorated the wrapping paper myself.

I think it's awesome so I wanted to share it with you guys.

for those who are in Malaysia,
i'll be opening my last booth of the year,
tomorrow ,so do come. I'll be selling my paintings!

DIY- Gold detail shoes

Hello there, it's been forever since I did my last DIY tutorial. I'm finally getting around to it again. I've done tons of diys myself but din't bother to document it, bad Haris. I was cleaning all my shoes on a Sunday then I say worn out black canvas shoes I had laying around that started to look boring to me. So I took my gold spray paint , taped it  and voila ! Awesomeness! It's really that simple, you just need a gold or silver spray paint and some duck tape. It's way more accessible than those expensive real metal gold tip shoes. It's a great alternative and you can apply it to anything and just go crazy ( well not too crazy ). Little suggestions of gold in an black and white outfit (red and purple looks good too) will give that touch of  exclusiveness. So enjoy and have fun with it!

Here are some more ideas on gold tip shoes you guys can try!

Have a great and creative weekend!
bye.

Now or Never

Bonjour! Well this was pretty much all about getting use with  my new routine that mainly rotates around school , working around assignments. Trying to get the hang of it , while I still do my fun artsy stuff. Since my mum fixed the sewing machine my eyes started to glistened with joy of possibilities of making clothe's. I've always wanted to sew so badly, not much of a fashion designer. Just enough to know the basics, after religiously watching project runway that made clothes look easy. I was ready to do the practical part. Carried that heavy load of a machine on my working table and started to meddle with it. After a sleepless night , I managed to alter all of my clothes that needed fixing which included the denim vest, a lot of pants and a few zipper malfunctions. Then I decided to sew a batik fabric, use it as a pocket on a t-shirt. It turned out okay.haha.Putting aside all these sewing business, I found a new muse to admire on. Claire Boucher Grimes is a phenomenal human being. I looove her songs, putting me in a goth trans! Which is a new style that I kinda like. but could never pull of, just admiring it's coolness from a far.

Here is the awesome girl, go check her out if you haven't already.
and  I bought inks for school .We're learning airbrush this semester , the compressor is deadly expensive. Not going to buy it, visiting friends who has it is worth the saving.
I have a new life motto , "now or never" it's basically means that what ever that I want to do it life should be done now, don't wait for it. Just do it for life is short and abstract. If you don't try you'll never know.

it's now or never.

DIY necklace

Hello there, when I got a free canvas from a friend awhile ago it came along with some wooden triangular things that always baffles me when I get them with my canvas, I have no idea what they're for. I've tried everything I could with it on the canvas and nothing makes sense . Then I thought i'll just make a necklace out of it. Glued the pieces together to form a big trapezium shape then I searched for magazine images like mountains then I just paste it on , then Viola! An awesome looking necklace. And there's a video of me vlogging through raya shopping at Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy some other random pictures and I'll see you guys after Raya I think I don't know if  I could have time post something on Raya back at my hometown. Have a safe trip "balik kampung" seriously, and Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!

Now here's the video !

the video was taken my sis's lomo digital camera , it's really small and convenient
It's really fun to play around. I was thinking of making some sort of documentary during Raya
at my hometown where I take snippets of Raya prayer , the people and stuff! What do you guys think?

P.S. I swear my face is not that oily , it's the lomo setting!

Here's some pictures taken with the camera.

That's all for now!
Bye!
