Rolling In the deep

Hello, to my surprise I kinda have the whole week off, haha .. totally unexpected but never fear Haris will handle the situation. So what did I do was, went on a little shopping spree yesterday since it's been so long since I treated myself with anything. For the last few months I've been compromising my style by hiding to the word "minimalist" to explain my lack of  enthusiasm to dress up. I miss that, so I went and bought myself a patterns shirt to spark excitement back to my style and a pair of socks to match from topman. Ahhh... topman why do you have so much amazing clothe that never agrees with the wallet? One day i'll work there just to get the clothes! Owh and I went roller blading today , what a heck of fun . Gliding to beat while neon lights dance around your body putting you in a trance. LOL I may have exaggerated a bit.

Eclectic Treasures

Bonjour! How is everyone? So it's has been  a week huh, on Saturday which is yesterday, haha.
I went to a Craft Expo, it's been a ritual for us to go there as a family . It is one of those events that I anticipate every year. It's sooo AWESOME! So many interesting things, inspirations and design that I've never seen before. There was this traditional Malay performance that I recorded , which is quite gory . I'll explaine why, it's because they play with supernatural beings , submerged themselves in animal spirits which made them strong( I know it's hard to believe, but it's a common thing here.) So enjoy.

I got my denim vest again, pimp it up with sharpies and studs!

A New Dawn

Hello everyone!
Here we are in 2012! How was your new year's ? We'll me and my family , we went for a little getaway
at  Cherating, and it was spectacular. I only packed my essential but nothing else to remind me of reality,I din't even look at my phone. I needed to escape , so what did I do? I had archery lessons , jogged along the beach , played sand castle ( upgraded version ), Spent New years with my pajamas's while cheering at the  people who were lighting up fireworks along the beach , skinny dipping in the sea way too early in the morning ( freezing), collected shells, saved 9 fishes ( not kidding , there's were laying around the beach gasping, so I dinged a hole to make a little pond and put  them all in , they're safe now I guess), in the morning they were a bunch of cows on the sea shore laying out! weirdest thing ever! That's sum's it.

I went out shopping today, really wanted to get some clothes but ended up getting bed covers. It's okay they're awesome!

My Sister's Party 

Well me and my big sister organised a party for my little sister Aqilah. We decorated the whole house! Tons of fun , but not something you do often cause it's not that easy. We decided on a theme from Aqilah's favorite movie Alice in Wonderland, and took only purple, pink and black for the colour scheme. I think it turn out awesome!

Film Fusion.

      Well, you know when you watch a very richly styled movie with amazing story lines and you just get so infused into it, that you just now how to play the character and you won't mind being one and living their lives because they're just so effing interesting? I spent half of the day doing that, while I was painting my mum's rose that she requested- I wanted to be inspired and just chill and smell the roses( LOL!). So I simultaneously watched movies and paint at the same time, ahh life is good.(I'm getting very productive) The first movie I saw was actually found by accident while deliriously searching another favorite. It's The Darjeeling Limited, I was shocked that I had that DVD in my stack, well a close friend of mine ( she's really cool and is an expert for everything indie and hobo, in a good way of course!)well she adores that movie and I always wanted to watch it and wondered how on earth have I haven't!

It is an AMAZING MOVIE, if you haven't watched it, you should.

I was just so inspired by it , the way it been styled and India is just Magical place.I want to go there.badly.

Makes me appreciate the Indian blood in me.

The colours are just amazing, and it really shows my style. So I think I'll be wearing more prints and colors!

The other movies I watched was Miss Potter, Devils wear Prade(ofcourse) and Single Man. I love ALL of these movies for inspiration, maybe I'll post their individual style on other days.
