Moonrise

Bonjour! How is everyone, I guess everyone's fine since Doomsday din't happen. Let us continue with our lives shall we. But I won't lie that it startled me a little. I've just recently finished a big piece, it took longer that I expected. I procrastinated  a lot. I think it's one of my biggest pieces, just wanted to make something abstract. I thought of the concept that If you read a book, that'll it take you places. Imagining yourselves in the story realms. I wanted to capture those moments, the painting is made with gauche , acrylic and color pencils on wood panel. It's nice to draw on wood once in awhile , but I'm still paper type of guy. I hope you guys enjoy a little insight as to how I work. I drink a lot of hot chocolate while I paint, and  I just watched this movie called Moonrise Kingdom( explains the inspiration for the title) and it was balling amazing. I just love awkward weird but beautifully designed movies. I highly recommend it to weirdost just like me out there. or is it just me?

I have some diy projects up my sleeve so watch out!

Penang

Hello there! I went on a trip last 2 days , explaining my absence here. A much needed break from all the hastiness of college. Me and my colleges stayed at Khalis's place by the sea at penang. (fyi Khalis told me that someone recognized her from my blog, LOL) . So the main reason going there was actually to go  for a talk held by my college by this talented korean artist Kim Jung Gi. Personally I was to lazy to go , I really wanted to explore Penang and those famous street art by Ernest Zacharevic. So I did just that.We basically ate a LOT , saw many artistic stores and  one antique store that blew my mind. Wanted to buy an antique , but who I was kiding (I'm poor). Didn't really buy anything just hanged around with my friends , it was awesome. Khalis's mum house / studio was amazing she had all the art materials I ever wanted , so I couldn't resist myself so I made a random watercolor piece there. Enjoy!

Wish List

Bonjour, it's the last week of college, and there's a few gaps in between classes. I can't wait till it's break, so many things to do. There's a couple of booths in store for you guys so watch out. In the mean time, it's been quite some time since I bought anything for moi. So I'm building myself a wish list of things , I'd probably won't get them but it's good to dream! and also things that is inspiring to me right now.

DIY- Gold detail shoes

Hello there, it's been forever since I did my last DIY tutorial. I'm finally getting around to it again. I've done tons of diys myself but din't bother to document it, bad Haris. I was cleaning all my shoes on a Sunday then I say worn out black canvas shoes I had laying around that started to look boring to me. So I took my gold spray paint , taped it  and voila ! Awesomeness! It's really that simple, you just need a gold or silver spray paint and some duck tape. It's way more accessible than those expensive real metal gold tip shoes. It's a great alternative and you can apply it to anything and just go crazy ( well not too crazy ). Little suggestions of gold in an black and white outfit (red and purple looks good too) will give that touch of  exclusiveness. So enjoy and have fun with it!

Turning twenty

Bonjour, how are you all? It has been a packed last weekend for me. As some of you may not know, last sunday was my birthday yup! I got a LOT of nice wishes that I din't expect from. Thanks for all the wishes! Although  I din't really have a proper "celebration" , it was nice to see the people I love on their big day too. My favorite cousins engagement day was on my birthday and the day after that was my sister's Graduation! Wow right, haha. Coincidentally , we all wore pink for the booth days. They booth look lovely on their special day, I just wanna say Congratulations to my cousin and my beautiful sister! May they be happiness and more success in the future!. As for me turning 20, no longer a "teen" . Aging scares the hell out of me! I just feel that it's like one more year gone to do great things. Maybe that's why I try to make every day meaningful, time is so precious. So now I'm 20 , wooot , let's step back and let that sink in. Never mind that, life is just starting 20 and beyond I feel it's going to be Amahzing! I'm not going to hold back any longer,I'm going to have fun , reach my goals and just kick ass.

That's all for now, it seems that I exceeded the picture space quota . Darn it.

Now I have to actually pay for extra space.

Until then i'll just have to be careful with the amount of pictures I post.

Market Madness

Bonjour! Some of you guys might be annoyed for me to say that all the time. I know I haven't posted any material in about 2 weeks. Might even lost readers already, haha. Well I was very VERY busy, opening booths mostly while trying to juggle classes and assignments at the same time. Now ,I knew what I signed up for when I first started selling my works. I was going to take commitment and a hell lot of energy! I din't know it was going to be this tiring , plus my room is under renovation which makes it merrier . I rarely get proper sleep since the contractors basically come at 8 am everyday knocking and drilling in my ears. But going through all that hassle made it all worth it meeting you guys , having such amazing positive feedback's and awesome people I get to meet! I love opening booths, it's a little cult  of interesting people trying to share what they love to the world. I been lucky enough to open it in a lot  of places and I don't plan to stop. Honey, I'm in for the long run , and you're support means the world to me!.

So I might not be posting until the constructions are finished but I recently opened an instagram account
